I am planning to visit SGX, which is Singapore's stock exchange. My aim would be to buy my very first stock and get an idea about how its really done.

• A number of seminars are held which are mostly free. Brokerage firms present their products at these events.
• SGX outsources trading to brokerage firms
• You can open a free trading account at OCBC securities.
