Lecture by Professor Ahuja (UIUC)

I recently attended a lecture by a renowned professor who works on Computer Vision. Mr Narendra Ahuja is a professor at UIUC and he is considered as one of the pioneers of image processing. The talk by Professor Ahuja was on object segmentation and recognition. The concept that he delivered was mesmerizing as he was able to deconstruct image processing entirely and then rebuild a new concept and give an entirely new approach.

The lecture showed how great professors actually think. Thinking deeply and deconstructing the entire approach is one impressive way for pursuing research. This is also only possible if you work with great minds who would be willing to do some sparring sessions with you.
