Are we really interested in information when we read books?
I read books because I find it pleasurable. Lying on your bed with a book in hand to me is a really wonderful experience and something which I look forward to everyday. Do I care what the books is about?. To be honest, I don't really care. The information that I get from an e-book is simply a by-product of that experience. It has nothing to do with the experience itself.
On the other hand, an e-book reader focuses on information. This is similar to being interested in calories and not the taste of the food.
